The Management Institute of Governance, Ethics and Transparency Malaysia (MIGET) is Malaysia's National Centre of Excellence for Civil Society Governance, established to advance governance excellence, ethical leadership, institutional integrity and public trust across the Civil Society sector.

MIGET does not exist merely to deliver programmes. It exists to build governance capability, strengthen institutional excellence and inspire public trust. Our education, accreditation, advisory services, research and strategic partnerships are the means through which we fulfil that mission

Why MIGET Was Established
Malaysia's Civil Society sector continues to play an increasingly important role in community development, humanitarian initiatives, education, healthcare, environmental sustainability and national progress. As the sector grows, expectations surrounding governance, transparency and accountability continue to rise.
Public confidence has become one of the most valuable assets for every Civil Society Organisation.
However, isolated incidents involving weak governance, inadequate oversight, poor financial stewardship and governance failures have demonstrated that even a small number of governance lapses can affect public confidence across the wider sector.
MIGET was established in response to this evolving landscape.
Our purpose is not to regulate organisations, but to empower them.
We provide practical governance solutions that help organisations strengthen leadership, improve governance capability, build institutional resilience and inspire greater public trust.
